Valentine’s day is a very well-known holiday throughout the world. Many people say Valentine’s day is just a day for companies to get money but the true meaning of this very special day is to spend time with the people you love whether or not it’s with family, friends or romantic interests. It doesn’t even have to involve receiving or giving gifts, it’s about spending time with loved ones. You just need to show the people around you that you love and appreciate them. It makes people feel appreciated and feel good. Valentine’s day is February 14th every year. Why is it on February 14th? Well it was originally on February 15th due to the feast of Lupercalia which was a part of ancient romans but when Christianity introduced it was changed to February 14th which is a celebrated day for a martyr named Valentine.
