Soccer in Tucson has been growing for the past 17 years. Tucson Soccer Academy is one of the biggest clubs in Tucson and is very well known throughout the community. As it club has the top coaches and facilities. Wolfgang Weber is the head of the club, and is one of the founders of this club.

He was born in West Germany and has been coaching for 35 plus years. He has made this club who they are today. Players that play for TSA are more recognized by colleges because of their popularity. Many people have been chosen to play for division 1-3 schools.

   The Catalina Foothills Boys soccer is a great program for students to play soccer and represent their school. Greg Whitney and Wes Wade also coach for TSA, Wes Wade was a professional indoor soccer player for mainly for the San Diego Sockers indoor team from 1989-1992 making 133 appearances for the club. Greg Whitney has been coaching for the past 10 years. 

  • Try outs for Catalina Foothills Boys Soccer is October 30- November 4
  •    Health forms and Physicals need to be done prior to tryouts
  •   Coaches for varsity are Greg Whitney and Wes Wade
  •   First Tournament is the Brandon Bean  

Soccer in Tucson has become one of the most played sports and it gets bigger every year. It’s a sport for people of any age. Just get out of your shell and join a club and play for fun and follow your passion.
